National Kissing Day AND Friday the 13th?

So apparently its National Kissing Day today, which also happens to be Friday the 13th.

In case you're superstitious, here's some info on kissing safely!

  • Kissing: Kissing is a totally safe activity. Unless...don’t kiss someone while they have a cold sore (Herpes sore), or if they feel one coming on.

  • French Kissing: This means kissing with your mouth somewhat open so that your lips and tongue touch your partner’s lips and tongue. French kissing is considered very low risk for STIs. Herpes is the only STI likely to be picked up with a kiss.
For info on STI risks for these and MANY other sexual activities, check our website at:  http://www.calgarysexualhealth.ca/sexual_practises.html
